we were supposed to design a space to live in for a year for Exploration Studio/Personal Space with Stuart Reid for my Habitat project and I made this. I picked the mouth of the Humber River to live in and there’s coyotes. My building would be made of mahogany wood and glass and it would have white curtains. There’s an outdoor working space with mosquito nets on the 1st floor but I didn’t have enough time to buy them and there’s a washroom and a passage for the ladder and on the 2nd floor is the kitchen and table and sleeping space and desk and I was thinking there could be a TV for playing video games with a Super Nintendo.
Film Set City project for Mythologies and Utopias: Invented Landscapes/Cityscapes with Olia Mishchenko. we were supposed to design a city with things from our house and take pictures of it and draw it.
experimental architecture project for Mythologies and Utopias: Invented Landscapes/Cityscapes with Olia Mishchenko. the final drawing got ruined when I rolled it and I got the perspective wrong in some of the drawings but maybe I’ll remake the final one. the buildings would be made of wood and glass and the corridor of black steel and glass and the floor of the corridor and pyramid buildings of wood.
In my designs there would be 20 pyramid buildings attached together by corridors and they could be along a river or in a city but I think it’s too futuristic or they could be in the north of Canada. And there would be stairs or an elevator in the middle. I would’ve liked to make them 10 or 20 stories high but maybe I can do that later.
second mock up to design a marketplace for a site for sale in Toronto. designed with my group project partner Robin Whitteker for Environmental Design 2 with Marco Jacob. this model would be made of stone. the interior walls are 1 metre high and the buildings are 4 metres high with a market and a cafe and a space outside for a farmer’s market and a sitting area.
final design for the group project to design a marketplace for a site for sale in Toronto designed with my group project partner Robin Whitteker made for Environmental Design 2 with Marco Jacob. this model would be made of stone.
I got inspired by this building from South Africa to make my design for these sketch models. This was a project to design a marketplace for a site for sale in Toronto. the walls were 2 metres high in one of the designs and made of stone like in the picture of the building from South Africa. this was made for Environmental Design 2 with Marco Jacob.
hat project for Design Process with Candida Girling I took in the summer of 2010. it kind of looks like a witch hat.
